My daughter goes in next month for her 1 year check up on her Ventricular Septal Defect(VSD) next month. I remember when the pediatrician came in and told me he heard something wrong. I knew that it was not good. My husband and I had told him that I was born with mutliple heart conditions, so he make doubly sure he checked on her heart. He heard a faint murmur, one so faint that if he did not know about my conditions, he would not have heard it at all. One good thing was I knew who to see, and that they would take care of her. Luckily, her VSD is very close to the outer wall. Those usually close themselves in the first 2 years of life. Honestly, I had 2, an Atrial Septal Defect and VSD, and I do not know which one closed. I think it has to be the VSD since my patch is higher up.
Anxious to see what the outcome is.
