Welcome to Heart to Heart, the place for people to get together and talk about there or there children's Congenital Heart Defects. I myself have had multiple Congenital Heart Defects. Atrial Septal Defect, Ventriculr Septal Defect, Pulmonary Stenosis, Heart murmurs, and Tetrallogy of Fallot. I now have a Natural Cow valve instead of a Pulmonary Valve(Sept. 05'). November 13, 2007 I gave birth to 9 lb. 11 oz. 23 inch long baby girl. Taking my concern for her heart the Pediatrician checked her heart and found a extremely small murmur. She has a Ventricular Septal Defect. In February of 2008 I received my first AICD, pacemaker/defibillator, quite unexpectedly. I had gone into almost complete ventrical tachycardia. My heart rate stayed at/above 200 bpm for over 2 hours.

The purpose of this blog is for encouragement for parents out there that have children that have congential heart defects(CHD) and adults with CHD. To encourage one another and share there stories and experiences. To help educate parents and children about CHD's. I myself only know about my own heart defects, so I will have articles about the problems and studies showing the advancement of technology regarding CHDs.
